EditAI is an offline desktop app. It has no accounts and no telemetry.

Your camera files are referenced, never copied or changed. Besides the optional model download, the app does not use the network. Syncing, transcription, previews, auto-cut and encoding all run on your Mac.
If you connect Claude, the assistant receives the transcript text it asks for and the stills it requests. That is handled by the assistant's own service. Auto-cut keeps everything local. See Connect Claude.
